Beauterre in Owatonna, Minnesota is located about an hour south of the Twin Cities on a beautiful campus surrounded by nature. Programming occurs in a building separate from the residential program and has a private entrance.
Beauterre’s Intensive Outpatient Program is a great option for those that don’t need a residential level of care or for those that need a little more support after a residential stay. You can continue to engage in employment, education, family and community obligations while attending treatment services. Group topics focus on substances of abuse and alcohol education, relapse prevention, twelve step facilitation, family education, recovery issues and skills, sexuality and you, co-occurring disorders, distress tolerance, stress management, healing from anger, emotional regulation, men’s/women’s issues, interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness and substance abuse, finding your purpose, the addicted brain, self-awareness through narrative, substance abuse and trauma (seeking safety), overcoming obstacles, coaching and career development, therapeutic art and nutrition and diet education.
Assessments and individual sessions are held on campus with group session offered virtually Monday through Thursday from 5 – 9 pm.
