EOSIS Lake Shore is a 23-bed residential men’s addiction treatment facility located in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. Licensed as a co-occurring treatment facility, we can provide you with addiction treatment services while supporting your mental health needs at the same time. Here you’ll find the clinical support you need but also the brotherhood that strengthens recovery.
Your treatment team will be multidisciplinary – bringing all the strengths of their training together to give you a unique treatment plan to meet your individual needs. They will provide an initial assessment but will continue to assess you throughout your stay with us. They’ll be looking at your use history, any mental health challenges, cravings and withdrawal issues as well as your medical needs. They meet routinely as a group to determine your progress in meeting clinical milestones and then adjusting your treatment plan as needed.
If you’re working with an outside provider, we will coordinate that care and provide non-emergency transportation to appointments. We are also equipped to do telehealth sessions on-site. We are methadone-friendly and can help you get what you need, like an ID. While you’re here, we’ll transport you to off-site AA and NA meetings so that when you’re ready for discharge, you’re already familiar with those meetings, making the transition easier.
In addition to your standard treatment services, you’ll participate in art and recreational therapy with activities like corn hole, fishing, horseshoes, bonfires and walks, all so you can learn to have fun free of substances.

“The staff and the people here made the treatment worth while”
“The staff was awesome especially my counselor Cassie, she was amazing and extremely helpful to me. She was very supportive, included me in my treatment plan and went to bat for me when speaking with my probation officer and I really am thankful for that. Also EVERY TECH THAT WORKS HERE has been more than helpful, made me feel comfortable with my stay, and taught me many life lessons that I didn’t know. A special thanks to all of them from me, they truly have had a very positive effect on my life.”
“The staff here are wonderful!!! They helped me out so much and I would recommend this program to anyone and everyone that needed treatment.”
“The freedom to work my own program and not forced to do 12 steps and didn’t shove religion down my throat. The option to go to the YMCA and outside meetings.”
“How the staff will meet you were you are in this addiction process and help best they can they genuinely care as far the staff goes”
“This place was amazing and saved my life. The staff and the brotherhood were my favorite. I love you guys and thank you for helping me get my life back. I will always be eternally grateful”
“The fact that I was able to express my true feelings about addiction and use without judgement, which in return I was able to assess my difficulties in life and get down to the core problems that I had with myself and my past. I loved my counselor, who pushed me everyday to be true and honest about my addiction, and held me accountable to work on all problems that were withholding me from being my best self. I am so thankful to all nurses, counselors, and techs for the amazing job they did. Without my therapist, I don’t know if I could have got through some of my toughest days without feeling down, she helped me understand mental illness to a level where now I feel confident and content with taking on life without substance abuse. I especially appreciate Lunell and Becky for giving me this opportunity, it was truly a life changing experience. Thank all Lakeshore.”
